Chief Administrative Officer

Under reporting line of the General manager/IT-VP and in close collaboration with other senior leaders, responsible for providing overall senior leadership and focus to Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Admin Services and Manila Business Services and ensure they operate efficiently in the execution of the enterprise mission and organizational strategies involving those functions.  Corollary to these, ensure the organization meets its required financial, operational and regulatory obligations.  Close collaboration with applicable onshore and local leadership team in the execution of business goals, objectives and strategies.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, implement and manage organization’s strategic plans on those four areas, Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Admin Services & Manila Business Services group
  • Key knowledge in the HR discipline (Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Payroll and Time Keeping, Employee Relations and Organizational Development)
  • Set overall goals and directions for such departments and its individual managers
  • Develop infrastructure, analyze current processes, recommend and implement procedural or policy changes
  • Develop internal control policies, guidelines and procedures for activities such as budget and administration, contracts management, cash flow & fund management, tax regulations & labor standards, government agencies such as Philippine SEC, DTI, PEZA & DENR
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports such as headcount and operating expenses, including forecasts and annual budgets, and regulatory reporting (i.e., PEZA, BIR, SEC, DOLE, BOC, US Embassy)
  • Oversee facilities planning, maintenance and custodial operations including management of internal or external service contracts
  • Organize and coordinate inter-company transactions with onshore operations
  • Provide guidance to direct report staff and the conduct of their performance evaluation with their respective department & teams
  • Create and manage business relations with third parties to include vendors and suppliers of goods and services, banks & financial institutions, legal, tax & audit service providers and all professional organizations where the enterprise has active representation and memberships

  • Reports directly to the GM/ IT VP

POSITION QUALIFICATION

Educational Background:

  • Graduate of Accounting or any Business course
  • Preferably Certified Public Accountant, plus to those with graduate/master’s degree

SOLID EXPERIENCES:

  • 10+ years in senior leadership or executive role
  • Proven experience in leading finance, human resource and administrative operations of a multi-national organization preferably a US-owned organization
  • Solid experience in managing business relations with third party counterparts
  • Key knowledge on local laws and regulations involving Bureau of Internal Revenue, Securities and Exchange Commission, Philippine Economic Zone Authority/DTI, Department of Labor & Employment to name a few
  • Knowledge of fiscal planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Proficient in MS Office and databases
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
