Primary Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years professional experience as a system engineer and/or administrator responsible
for 1st to 2nd level support of IBM MQ, IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Confluent Kafka, Striim - Proven scripting experience in Shell, Perl, AWK or Python is desired but not required.
- Must have 4-year degree (Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent)
- Knowledge and use of Enterprise Managed File transfer solutions such as OpenText MIM is desired,
but not required. - Candidates’ prior system administration with 2+ years of Linux/AIX platform and working on cloud
platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud experience will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on support responsibilities (installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, deployment, and
performance tuning & optimization) and document the procedures/instructions for other team
members to follow. - Identify opportunities and develop scripts to automate the manual tasks where possible to minimize
the manual work and to produce high quality and consistent work. - Diagnose, isolate and debug problems and performs problem resolution. Participate in
troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts to help identify the solutions and determine next steps
to address the issues - Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversee
creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan
