Senior Manager (Cloud)

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Advocate for high quality standards in a Cloud-based Infrastructure domain.
  2. Act as second in command for the Cloud Infrastructure area partnering with the Director.
  3. Ensures department business alignment (onshore / offshore).
  4. Lead the team in resolution effort to provide best in class and stable Cloud service.
  5. Strategic partner in driving the company-wide IT Infrastructure programs.
  6. Partners with members in setting their individual goals and development plans.
  7. Mentors and coach members for high performance.
  8. Assumes other duties within IT Infrastructure as assigned by the Director.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or related field and at least 10 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent education and related professional leadership / managerial experience specialized in the field of IT Infrastructure facet, preferably in senior level.
  • Proven work experience in cloud technologies including Azure, AWS, VMWare and Dell EMC Storage
  • Knowledge in Puppet, Ansible, Java, Java Script, VRO, and VRA is preferred.
  • Knowledge in DevOps, Scrum/Kanban and Agile workflow methodologies is preferred.
  • Knowledge in EMC SAN, EMC NAS, NetApp NAS, NetApp SAN, Data Domain, Networker, NetBackup,   RP4VM, Brocade SAN Switch, Cisco SAN Switch, Unity VSA, Zerto is also preferred.
  • Very good business and financial acumen proven with relevant experience.
  • Exposed in Strategic business operation (country / regional)
  • Self-starter with an ability to learn beyond formal training, aptitude for delivering quality service.
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in the role of IT Infrastructure Senior Manager with understanding of enterprise infrastructure capabilities – Virtual, Cloud, or IAAS technologies preferred.
  • Information Technology experience to include one or more of the following: Enterprise Infrastructure, Server Technologies, Cloud Management, Enterprise Systems Management, Datacenter, Network and/or Systems Integration.
  • Vast knowledge in IT Service Management including Incident, Change, and Problem.
  • Working knowledge in Project planning using MS Project and PMO governance systems
  • Must possess superior problem-solving skills, be action-oriented and decisive.
  • Ability to effectively articulate and present complex concepts and strategies to leadership and end-users.
  • ITIL, PMP Certification, or Masters Degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience with large projects in Enterprise IT Infrastructure will be considered an asset.
