Primary Skills:

  • 1-2 years experience in Online/Class Room Facilitation, Course Creation, Learning Management System, SCORM, Training Materials Creation and some background on instructional design.

Key Functions:

  • Develop technical training strategy for Service Desk personnel.
  • Establish training criteria and grading scales.
  • Document and maintain industry standards for technical training.
  • Coordinate training classroom environments.
  • Develop and update ILT/WBT courses/training materials following instructional design standards.
  • Administer and publish web based training in a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conduct training for Service Desk staff.
  • Provide Service Desk management with performance-based training evaluations.
  • Shared responsibility for research of the content on the Knowledge Management tool. This is the sole source of information that the Service Desk Specialists and management, utilize to help internal Safeway Customers (retail and backstage personnel).
